The Clinton and Washington Family Eye Care Centers are family owned practices with two generations of optometrists providing eye care to the western New Jersey community for the past 60 years. The practice consists of four doctors of Optometry (OD) licensed in New Jersey in the treatment of eye diseases. Their skills are maintained through continuing education, training, and utilization of the latest equipment and techniques which help to ensure that you are receiving the highest quality eye care available today.
Optometrists are independent primary health care providers licensed to examine eyes for the purpose of prescribing and fitting corrective lenses (eyeglasses and contact lenses). An optometrist also specializes in the examination, diagnosis, treatment, and management of diseases and disorders of the eye, its associated structures, as well as diagnosis of eye diseases. Optometrists complete four years of post-graduate optometry school and can prescribe many ophthalmic medications and often participate in pre- and post-operative care, such as cataract surgery and Lasik.
Not all optometrists are the same though. The doctors of Clinton and Washington Family Eyecare pride themselves on the personalized care that they provide to each and every patient. By taking the time to explain the procedures they perform, you will never feel rushed nor afraid to ask us questions about your eye care health. The very friendly, highly trained office staff are available to assist you with making appointments, ordering contact lenses, verifying your insurance coverage, and answering your questions. Please feel free to call the office with any concerns at any time and our staff will be eager to help you. Your eyes are one of your most important assets -- entrust them to a trusted optometric team who cares as much about your eyes as you do.
Please review the doctors' individual Curriculum Vitae below for more information on the optometrists eager to help you with your eye care needs.
